Ok, we rode Springhill Park's Golden Eagle Trail this morning and I have to let everyone know that it was not the best ride I've ever had. The trails was quite overgrown now due to the rain, not sure who manages the trails but they definitely need some help. Some brush along the side of the trail will get you, it had large leaves and spines on it, Seth hit this plant pretty hard and has what appear like mosquito bits all up his leg from it. Speaking of mosquito's, they were bad also, be sure to have repellent with you when you ride.
We had planned on taking the longer loop (Orange Loop) but due to the rain we've been receiving locally, the trail crossed a rather deep creek and we didn't take the chance of getting stuck so we rode the Green trail today.
